OUR MISSION
Ice hockey is the fastest sport in the world.
Ice hockey today is faster and more demanding than ever. What counts is not just physical strength, but speed of thought, fast reactions, emotional stability and the ability to recover quickly after exertion. Our goal is to develop young athletes in a targeted way, help them unlock their full potential on the ice and guide them successfully into professional hockey. We are convinced: the greatest potential is not unleashed through blind pressure, but through a safe, perfectly controlled environment. We leave nothing to chance: we diagnose precisely, train with purpose, and support the athlete in every area that makes a difference. We don't just train harder — we train exactly the way the athlete needs in order to reach the next level without being overloaded.

Daily monitoring of sleep, recovery and vital signs effectively protects players from overload and overtraining. This seamless oversight gives the athlete the confidence to always train at their performance limit, without ever crossing it harmfully.

From the international ice to the coach's bench.
The Path
Yannick Windegger's coaching philosophy is built on deep personal experience at an international level. Before fully focusing on optimising athletes, he spent years on the ice himself — including in the high-level youth and pro systems of Germany and the Czech Republic.
Those years shaped his understanding of modern ice hockey decisively. He saw first-hand how two of Europe's strongest hockey nations train, play and demand performance. That international know-how, combined with the tactical and physical standards of Germany and the Czech Republic, flows directly into his daily work as a coach today.
The evolution to performance coach
Moving from player to coach was the logical next step. From his own career, Yannick Windegger knows exactly that talent alone is not enough — at the top level, success is decided at the intersection of body, mind and technique.
Today he uses this international experience as an independent performance coach to take the next generation of players to the next level. With Windegger Performance he combines the hard facts of pro sport from his own active years with modern approaches from neuro-athletics and on-ice skill training. He knows exactly what it takes to break through internationally — and that is exactly what he passes on to his athletes and partner academies.
Behind Windegger Performance stands the philosophy that maximum performance on the ice is no coincidence, but the result of a precisely controlled system. As a coach, I combine sound athletic training with modern approaches from neuro-athletics and specific on-ice skill training.
